These terms and conditions apply to makeup services provided by Bek Kemp to you. Upon booking a makeup application with Bek Kemp, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
BRIDAL BOOKINGS:
SECURING / AMENDING YOUR BOOKING:
A deposit is required to secure your booking and is non-refundable or transferable under any circumstance. The booking fee is calculated based on the size/ requirements of the booking.
*Any extra payments you have made to your invoice additional to the required deposit ahead of the required deadline is your responsibility, and if for some reason you cancel or reschedule your booking with me, these extra funds are non- refundable.
Please check the invoice carefully to make sure that you have given me the correct details for your booking. Please screenshot your payment once you have transferred the deposit. Please also reference the payment with your name/ wedding date.
Additional surcharges may also be added if the amount of guests being serviced reduces below the booking minimum (5 services/ $700 + travel for Friday/Saturday/ Sunday bookings) on a per person basis; charged at our discretion after the deposit has been paid and booking secured. Any reduction of services below the booking minimum will see the client charged the minimum regardless.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfill your booking, I will notify you in the first instance and provide you with a replacement artist, one whom I recommend highly and does similar work to myself. If I cannot find a suitable replacement stylist, I will offer you a full refund.
Rescheduling your appointment:
Legally as stated, your deposit is non-refundable or transferable, however depending on your individual situation under my discretion, I may offer to reschedule your booking. If your wedding is postponed due to covid, I am able to transfer your booking once subject to availability.
Any funds paid to me for a booking that results in a chance of date/location that I am unable to attend to results in a loss of deposit/funds paid. However, depending on the exact nature of the situation, I may choose to hold the extra funds (minus the non-refundable/transferable deposit) as a credit for 12 months under your name should you wish to use my services for another event.
Wedding day timing:
Bek allows 60 minutes minimum for the bride's makeup and 60 minutes for anyone else's makeup. Touch ups take place once the last makeup has been completed. A set up/ pack down time of 15 minutes total is also required. My start time is based on what time you’d like to be ready by, working back from this and allowing extra time for any delays.
